YOSEMITE!
Just got home last night from a 10 day vacation with Gary to Yosemite National Park, among other places. I hope to have a trip album ready to post sometime next week. In the meantime, here's a shot of me, at 9,000 feet. The mountains in the background are 13,000 feet. Yes, it was cold!

I'll be offline for the next 10 days or so... so here's a little family photo that I snagged from Roboranch for you to enjoy until I return. Pictured are Gary and I with our granddaughters Cassidy May and Sophia, and our daughter Amy, who is due to have another baby in March. We are all dressed up because we had just had a fancy supper at the Gandy Dancer in Ann Arbor... Labor Day weekend.

Morning Glorious!
When I decided to plant morning glory seeds mid-June by a couple empty trellises in the back yard, Gary was skeptical, since it's a fairly shady back there. Well, they sprouted and grew... granted... slower than they might have, had they had the requisite "full-sun" recommended on the seed packet. Fortunately we haven't had a frost yet. In fact, we've been having warmer than average temperatures for the past couple weeks. Lo and behold, over the weekend they bloomed! Better late than never.
